The Module I of Advanced algorithms will be taught in English and is one of the pillars of the common theoretical training for the Master. The main objective of this module is to provide the student with the skills and knowledge base, for their research on the topics that the program provides. The module is divided in 3 Subjects:

• (TG) Graph Theory: 6 ECTS
• (TR) Transformation Theory: 6 ECTS
• (OB) Optimization and Search Methods: 6 ECTS

The Basic Training Module consists of 3 electives fields 12 ECTS each, among which the student must select one to get a foundation training in one of the basic research subjects for Intelligent and Adaptive Systems Software:

Information Theory:

• (CI) Information Coding: 6 ECTS
• (MI) Modeling, Analysis and Representation of Information: 6 ECTS

Knowledge Representation:

• (RN) Neural Networks: 6 ECTS
• (CA) Rough Sets: 6 ECTS

Knowledge Analysis:

• (LB)  Fuzzy Logic: 6 ECTS
• (AG) Genetic Algorithms: 6 ECTS

The Specialization Module consists of 2 fields: Intelligence and Adaptability. Each of these fields consists of 5 electives of 6 ECTS each, from which the student must take 18 ECTS selecting at least one elective from each subject.

Intelligence:

• (BIO)    Bioinformatics: 6 ECTS
• (CBR)   Case Base Reasoning Systems: 6 ECTS
• (CM)     Classification Methods: 6 ECTS
• (CBI)    Content Based Information Retrieval: 6 ECTS
• (MAS)   Intelligent Agents and Multi-Agent Systems: 6 ECTS

Adaptability:

• (ISS)    Information Scheduling Systems: 6 ECTS
• (IP)      Image Processing: 6 ECTS
• (HCI)    HCI based on Natural language processing: 6 ECTS
• (ASI)    Audio Signal Information Retrieval: 6 ECTS
• (OOT)   Object Oriented Technologies: 6 ECTS

The Module IV of Research will be taught in English and is composed by 2 Subjects:
