Regulation.-
In accordance with the regulations of the University of Vigo in resolution of of July, 30th (see this link) for which resolved to publish the standards for admission and enrollment for the academic year 2009/2010, the procedure and before enrollment in the period of tutelage thesis in the PhD. Program in Intelligent and Adaptable Software Systems is the following:
Applicants must meet the application for enrollment in the academic management platform within the deadlines Information concerning the documentation requested by the doctoral program will be available at the secretary and the portal ESEI http://eees.uvigo.es. All documentation will be delivered electronically.
In the application students must add an email address that will be the preferred way used by the university to send communications and notices arising to this process. They should also include a mobile phone contact (if available) to receive SMS communications.
However, students may make the application and documentation in paper records at the University of Vigo or by any other procedure stablished in Article 38 of Law 30/90 of 26 November about the Legal Status of Spanish Public Administrations.
Step Two: Admission .-
After the deadline for submitting pre-registrations, the Academic Committee of the PhD Program will publish a provisional list of admitted and excluded (see calendar), stating the grounds for exclusion, to be posted on the bulletin board of the ESEI Students Secretary.
Opens after a period (see calendar) grievance to the provisional list of admitted. Settled claims to be issued (see calendar) on the same board the final list of candidates admitted and excluded.
Applicants who were admitted may enroll on time (see calendar) and form prescribed.
Step Three: Formal Registration .-
Successful applicants will cover the registration form through the academic management platform. The documentation must be filed at the ESEI students Registry within a maximum of 10 days from the last day of formal registration, except if it was presented in the pre-registration phase. The documentation includes:
- Grounds for waiving of fees, if applicable.
- Photocopy of ID or passport, except for the University of Vigo students.
- Certified copy of University Master's degree, or certificate as he/she are in possession of sufficient qualification for research. For students of the University of Vigo is not required to submit these documents. In the case referred to in paragraph 9 of Article 2.1.5.2 will require:
Bachelor's Degree, Engineer, Architect, neither generable nor Technician, Architectural Technician Diploma and certification or academic university master studies performed. For the case referred to in paragraph 7 of Article 2.2.5.2:
- Application of the equivalence of title (TC-03).
- Photocopy of the foreign university Title degree.
- Academic certification of the university studies leading to the qualification submitted.
- Academic Program.
- Schedule of the different subjects in order to verify their content and workload
Students who have academic certification in a language other than Spanish or Galician shall accompany the sworn translation. In such cases the certificate shall indicate the maximum and minimum scores corresponding to the evaluation system and will say what is the minimum score to pass.
Documents 2), 3) and 4) must be authenticated through diplomatic channels at the embassies or consulates of Spain and with the approval of the Foreign Affairs Ministry of Spain (C / José Abascal 41, Madrid), documents coined with "apostilla" (Hague Convention) does not need another diplomatic or consular legalization.Photo size carnet, if you want to have the student carnet.
